During my family's six-night stay, we explored the vibrant city and enjoyed returning to our comfortable double room each night. The breakfast spread was good, featuring a great mix of hot and cold options, which kept us energized for our city adventures. I particularly loved the relaxed atmosphere around the hotel, with its proximity to many cafes and restaurants, perfect for our evening meals after a day out. The room amenities, especially the smart TV, added a nice touch for winding down at night.

Of course, the room / bathroom should be a bit bigger. But then the hotel would no longer be in an authentic town house in St. Georg. We particularly liked the love of good design in the furniture and equipment. The staff is not just nice: here you feel at home after just 1 day. The quality of the breakfast was also excellent - and the Italian restaurant in the basement is sensational. Location couldn't be better: 1 min to the Long Row (scene), 1 min to the Aussenalster, 15min to the main train station. This is not the anonymous 5-star standard hotel, but the price-performance ratio is absolutely right - and because of all this (see above), I give it 5 stars :)

The hotel was chic and ideal, and the staff were excellent, thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent location near to a lake, and lively bars and restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful and sensational, the check in was fast. A spa day in sauna was a pleasure...

It's great location by the lake and Hamburg city center/train station. We loved everything about the Aussen Alster right from our first encounter with the wonderful and helpful staff. We arrived a bit early, but we dropped off the luggage, went sightseeing, and everything was ready and waiting in our lovely room when we returned.

charming, charming, charming
I loved the large, clean room with full-height windows that opened onto a serene garden lookout area. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh and locally sourced items, including quality coffee made to order! The good golden retrievers roaming around enhanced the homey atmosphere.
can recommend 😊❤️

Very modern and clean, but it felt personal. The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was gorgeous and I could relax feeling like I had my own room in Hamburg. It made my stay more special than I thought it could've been. Lovely breakfast too.

during my stay, I was delighted to find that the hotel is just a short walk from the beautiful Planten un Blomen park, perfect for a leisurely stroll, and a quick 10-minute walk brings you to the vibrant Hamburg central station, making it easy to explore the city with ease.

Great locations, very friendly and helpful.
No air conditioning in the rooms. And when you open the windows, bugs fly in and there is a cafe downstairs that can get noisy (but only with the windows open).

As a young traveler, I did not look like the other guests, and keep being asked if I was staying in the hotel. Almost with a hint of skepticism.

Location was great and we had a nice room. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Only thing that slightly bothered me was that although the room was non smoking it did smell of smoke.
